Stators & Rotors
The manufacture of custom stators and rotors is a core assembly service that Windings has provided thoughout its history. Our long experience gives customers the assurance of consistent quality, dependable supply, short turnarounds and competitive pricing.
Windings can work with supplied laminations or source the laminations you need from a list of qualified vendors. Further, we can help reduce production time or cost by recommending manufacturing techniques that are most appropriate for the quantity of assemblies needed or the intended application (i.e. laser cut laminations vs. tooled and stamped laminations). Laminations can be warehoused at our facility until needed for production.
From the initial lamination stack, Windings can satisfy any specification for the style of winding, insulation/impregnation/coating and lead termination. See the Processes section for details. Every stator and rotor we build is electrically tested prior to shipment.
While noted for low to medium quantities of custom assemblies, your need for higher volumes can be accommodated.
It may be possible to arrange for manufacturing in a Low Cost Region (LCR). We can also operate your automated assembly equipment for you.
