Elinco | Inertial Motors

Windings Inc. manufactures and sells the low inertia, moving coil motor products originally developed by INERTIAL MOTORS CORP. Inertial was purchased by Elinco Corp. (Waterbury, CT). This product line was acquired by Windings in August 2001.

Windings personnel received extensive training from Elinco prior to the transfer. All tooling, fixtures, documentation, test specifications, and sales history now reside at the Windings facility in New Ulm, MN.

Three popular models (D30E, D44L, and A60L series) of the many released by Inertial Motors, are documented on this site. If your company has purchased a particular model in the past, its documentation is likely to be available for future orders. Windings Inc. will be happy to assist with the application engineering process on these or other specific models. Integral tachometers and encoders are available on all of these motors.
